Domestic Violence Support Groups are held at the following times:

In Mansfield:
Tuesdays from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon
Thursdays from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm

In Ashland:
Tuesdays from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm

The Domestic Violence Shelter provides support groups for women and children who are victims of domestic violence. There are three kinds of support groups provided depending upon your needs. Peer Support Groups are available for women either in a domestic violence situation or for domestic violence survivors. Topics discussed include; the cycle of abuse, safety planning and various other things pertaining to domestic violence. The Shelter also provides a life skills group for women to help them gain independence and self sufficiency.


Child care is provided by our staff and by volunteers on-site while you attend group.

Support groups are held confidentially and you must call The Shelter at 800-931-7233 or 419-774-5840 before attending group. You need not be staying at The Shelter in order to attend groups.
